Asli Özok's Time series explores into our collective fascination with and complex relationship to the concept of time. Through her paintings, she explores the intangible nature of time, highlighting how our perception of it evolves as we age. From the languid pace of our youth, where time seems infinite, to the rapid passage as we grow older, Özok captures the fleeting nature of our existence. While scientific, cultural, and sociological theories attempt to grasp time's essence, it remains an abstract construct.
