"Iconos" explores the representation of women and the transformation of female figures throughout art history. During the time of her "Hagia Sophia" exhibition in Spain, Özok observed the prominence and influence of women, often associated with the image of the Virgin Mary. Intrigued by the historical significance of the Virgin Mary as the first female figure in art, "Iconos" integrates themes from "Barcode" and "Hagia Sophia." focusing on the metamorphosis of the Virgin Mary into a contemporary woman, while also exploring the impact of consumer brands on shaping individual identities.
